The autumn starts with the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Cercle de l'Éventail in Paris on
17 to 19 September 2015. Called the "mother-of-pearl" anniversary (like 25 years silver and 50 gold), what is more appropriate than dedicating part of the celebrations to mother-of-pearl and to visit the centre of this material, the Musée de la Nacre in Meru in the Oise Valley where the exposition "
Nacre, matière d'excellence" is open from 13 September 2015 until17 April 2016.
Another visit to the currently open exposition "
Eventail, passion du second empire" in Compiègne follows on 18 September (expo open until 20 September 2015).
